The Audible Medium

The Audible medium is used as a warning system and is specifically targeted to a ground base person/operator irrespective of the application. Applications include on crane devices like the AlertMe-I™ or ground based devices as with the AlertMe-II™. Both of the devices can be triggered to initiate the audible message to those within the warning area.

The warning message memory consists of two selectable memory cells, one is factory programmed but can be over-written as can the 2nd memory cell at any time. This means that the installer/user can input the warning message to suit the application in the local language.

Usually the trigger device can be via a dry contact or an in-built proximity device set to trigger at a specific target size/area. The system incorporates in internal speaker which is used for local monitoring for checking/playing the message. When ready, the external Speaker or Horn switch is activated for normal operation.
